CITIES FOR PEACE
The Long Beach Peace Community has joined the national "Cities for Peace" campaign to have City Councils adopt Resolutions calling for "No War on
Iraq." We are gathering petition signatures supporting our proposed Resolution and tentatively plan to place the Resolution before the Long Beach City Council on February 25. We have spoken on the issue at the last
two City Council meetings.
