At this recent speech at New York City’s DC 37 of AFSCME, the Rev. Daughtry follows in the footsteps of Rev. King by linking economic justice at home with peace abroad making the case that labor must organize on both fronts building bridges to the community. The Rev. Herbert Daughtry, Pastor of the House of the Lord Pentecostal Church in Brooklyn and a founder of the Black United Front, has been a foremost Leader struggling against police and other forms of violence against people of African ancestry and for human rights for all oppressed groups.
