WEEKLY DEMONSTRATIONS AGAINST THE WAR WITH IRAQ AT SIX LOCATIONS



Every Friday 5 to 7pm in:

Los Feliz/Silverlake, in front of the Vista Theater, intersection of Sunset, Hollywood & Hillhurst boulevards.

Echo Park, intersection of Glendale Blvd. and Alvarado, just south of the 2 freeway entrance.

Alhambra, intersection of Main Street and Garfield Avenue, in front of Edwards Stadium 14 Theater (5:30 to 6:30).

Montebello, intersection of Beverly Blvd. and N. Wilcox Ave. (Assemble at 5 pm at the corner of 2300 W. Beverly Blvd. and Morris Place (front of Army recruiting center) for march at 5:30 to demonstration site.

Every Saturday 1 to 3pm in:

Eagle Rock, corner of Eagle Rock Blvd. and El Paso Road. (There's an Albertson's on that corner.)

Neighbors for Peace and Justice (Hemet) will hold a public meeting titled "The War on Iraq: What We Can Do for Peace." There will be a panel discussion of the war on Iraq, its implications, and what people can do for peace. The meeting will include audience participation.

Time: Thursday Jan. 30, 7 to 9 pm

Place: Hemet United Methodist Church, 530 S. Buena Vista, Hemet.
