LA teachers' union sends bus to national antiwar demonstration in San Francisco next weekend!
A global march against the war on Iraq is being coordinated for Saturday, Jan. 18, and the UTLA Human Rights Committee has arranged for a bus to take participants to San Francisco to join the event there. The bus will leave at midnight on Friday, Jan. 17, and return at the same time the next night after the march. Cost is $20 for UTLA members and staff and LAUSD employees, and $10 for parents and students with parent permission.
