Russia is about to send in the Gulf two antisubmarine ships from the naval base of Vladivostok, the great port on the Pacific ocean. Cited anonymous source today from Russian agency Interfax-Avn has said one. The two ships, Shaposhnikov Marshal and Panteleiev Admiral, would have to sail to the fine January or to first of February, and their mission will be "protect the europe interests in the region in the case of an escalation of the military conflict between the United States and the Iraq", has said the source.
