Praise for the Peace Movement In America By Lloyd Hart
I would like to heap praise and thanks on all the people that have organized the peace movement in America over the last several months, years and decades. Beginning with International A.N.S.W.E.R. and Mobalization fo Global Justice, and the following for coming together in an even larger coalition, United for Peace. American Friends Service Committee, (National) EPIC (The Education for Peace in Iraq Center), Fellowship of Reconciliation Foreign Policy, in Focus Fourth Freedom Forum, GI Rights Network, Global Exchange, Institute for Policy Studies, Internatiional ANSWER, Iraq Peace Pledge, MoveOn.org, National Network to End the War Against Iraq, Not In Our Name, (National) Peace Action, (National) Student Peace Action, Network Voices in the Wilderness, War Resisters League.
You see, the children I have raised here in America are all of a draftable age. It frightens me to think of any of them dying in a war. I believe that if we do not stop this war in Iraq, the US will begin drafting our children to defend against the reaction to this bald act of aggression. The blow back on this one could grow in time to a continuous scramble against the reaction.
We all know what this is really all about. It's about control of the strategic oil supply. The World Food, Water and Oil Supply are Collapsing according to the C.I.A. and the World Health Organization. The conservative elites' have decided that they will commit whatever crime it takes to make sure that they remain in monopolistic control of the means to wage and fuel war against the rising tide of rage born from the poverty that was and is created by continued European and America colonialism.
This Bush Regime hit the ground running toward war when they stole the election. They stole the election for the very purpose of absolute domination of the World's Food, Water and Oil Supply. They have been planning this move for years waiting for their opportunity to take hold of this super power of ours which they illustrate so clearly in the so-called Bush Doctrine. Absolute Power, Absolutely. Those of us that have studied these grown nine year olds a while know that the Joint Chiefs wrote the Strategic Security Report that everyone on the right touts as the Bush Doctrine. So when we attempt to stop these fascists from taking complete control of our children in an attempt to be the final arbiter of power in the world let us realize who we are attempting to prevent from dragging us all to Hell.
These conservative elites' in America and around the world don't give a damn about you or me or our children. They look at our children as simply a commodity that they have the right to use at whatever whim. They are feudal in mind set and violence is their tool of choice. These men of power believe that they are in control because god and nature put them there. If anyone has any doubts about these remarks you have not witnessed first hand enough death and destruction as a result of this grand illusion they call an economy. I can tell you right now that nature nor any god had anything to do with these awful hateful men coming to power. Just their own visceral hate of the work it takes to have a democratic mind set and the violence they shower down on the world as though they were gods. We the people have been allowing the mentally ill rule the world for far to long.
Now, we have the opportunity to seize the streets before and as they go to war. We must show our poor cousins in the weaker nations that America and Europe are not giant monoliths and in fact contain a large body of people compassionate to the suffering we and our life style have caused in their lands. We must ask our cousins for their help in defeating the savage beast that is hiding in his stolen house. For the very power to wage continuous war for the last two hundred years that America has imposed in it's most violent form of colonialism on the world, comes from the very resources that America steals from the world's impoverished nations. It is the very reason our cousins in the weaker nations suffer so. It is time to encourage our cousins to halt the flow of resources to the first world. To keep their Food and Water for themselves and their neighbors. The US consumes 40% of the world's resources but is only 4% of the world's population. So if our cousins really want to make their lives better they must do whatever it takes to stop the flow of their wealth into our hands.
This is the only solution in dealing with such rabid power that Europe and America represent. This is the only way to stop our children from being used as cannon fodder by the madmen in the mad houses in Washington and Brussels.
