BREAK THE BOYCOTT OF THE BERKELEY LAW FOUNDATION!
SUMMARY: Pro-Israeli students at UC Berkeley's Boalt Law School are
calling on the community to boycott a critical annual fundraiser for
the Berkeley Law Foundation (BLF), an important legal fund at Boalt.
What was the Berkeley Law Foundation's crime?
The Berkeley Law Foundation recently co-sponsored a talk by Na'eem
Jeenah. Jeenah is a long-time anti-apartheid activist from South
Africa who lost his brother in the country's struggle for freedom.
In his recent speech at Boalt Hall, Jeenah spoke about the parallels between South Africa's apartheid and Israel's oppression of the Palestinian people (

In response, pro-Israeli students and professors are boycotting the
Berkeley Law Foundation's annual fundraiser this Friday. Every year,
the BLF holds a dance party/auction that raises thousands of dollars
for scholarships supporting students from disadvantaged minority
backgrounds who want to pursue law school.
The pro-Israeli lobby is shamelessly trying to shut down this important scholarship fund! It is time for our community to demonstrate its support!
