320+ women have mysteriously disapeared from Juarez over the course of the decade to turn up later as corpses in the desert. SPARC and Venice's Beyond Baroque and Placita Olvera are bringing this horrifying reality to LA in attempt to build pressure to solve these crimes.

SPARC begins a yearlong project to bring awareness to the plight of the 320
plus women of Juarez, Mexico who have been abducted, raped, tortured and
murdered, The intention of the project is to engage and mobilize the general
public on these horrific murders and bring resolution to crimes that to this
day remain unsolved and continue.  (Just last week, the bodies of two more
young women were found.)

Please support this cause by fowarding this e-mail to your contact lists and
by showing up to the opening exhibit.  We will have different donation boxes
for organizations in Juarez, which you can support financially.  Every penny
is needed, but most importantly, every voice is needed.  It is crucial that
people are aware of this crime against humanity, we need international
pressure to stop the genocide in Juarez, Mexico.
