is guilty of the worst sort of pride: believing themselves to be as powerful as god by believing that they can create utopia on earth. As the story (or more than a story, if you go that way) says, the Snake tempted Eve by saying "you can be as the Gods", and thus, we are told was paradise lost. "Pride came before the fall".

Now I'm not terribly religious, but I know a good parable when I see one.

This is a large part of the reason why the Left is so anti-religion, even having banned its practice in most nations where it has a hold. The People can be as gods, goes the Leftist theory, and belief in a superior being obscures this realization.

I, too, am a light of God that was brought up not knowing so, so maybe I have moments of hypocracy, shades of pride, one may say.... but the whole of my reaction is based on the fun-anihilating nature of pride. One persons pride affects everyone's fun. My intent is genuinely of love.

Virtue is real. There is a practicality towards happiness that all existence shares, and pride bars it. It is pride that is insane.

You assume too much if you do not assume the best of me- you act against all goodness if you do not always assume the best, until you know better, at any rate. Find the truth in everything.

so, better dead then prideful, and better dead before doing anything else but suggesting that a grownup would rather be dead then proud.

The source of happiness is in you, it is you who has to want truth most.

Pride(in the form of confidence awareness of one's own abilities (which FAR EXCEEDS WHAT ONE REALIZES... = = anything you can imagine... IF you can "SEE" how it is contructed.../that is: how to perform xxx_)) is NOT a negative... When one is focused toward one's love...
(or what one finds to be beautiful..., and where one is heading = = one becomes.. If one focuses upon what one is inspired by and what is beautiful..., one can have the confidence (and thought constructed sense of identity) necessary to carry out the action, w the humility to continue growing...

I ONLY FIND myself insulted these days on Palestine Indymedia... I post proposals for important activist projects... and never get any response... I am instulted by Average Jeff.. it seems no one listens to what I have to say .... (One of the proposals involves love letter writing to Iraq.. : To obtain on camera, and try to get Saddam to "become his own dividnity"... (As recorded on camera, by various news sources who are currently in Iraq... ...then try to send the information back to the U.S.) So be it, people are mean selfish bastards.

I really want to say that you are beautiful... (but don't think that means that I am not- just because my writing is such a mess, and no one listens to anything i have to say... ) I really am right.

But the above statement is beautiful and true... Please help with this letter writing campaign to Iraq; "All is Goodness" is the main justification behind it...: Allow Saddam to rise to his divinity by showing him that (I ) and others believe he will do it... Give him the job, and expect him to rise to the occasion:

(That is: After sending information explaining that (like the newly reopened Library of Alexandria), we need to create a dialogue (and mutual understanding between the Western world, and the world of Islamic Civilization... (WOULDN't that be nice !!!... the mainstream West finally "waking up" and seeing the world in a broader form ... ...setting the stage for an understanding of ALL peoples, including the South American countries ?? ? Would we finally see INTEGRITY = = Spirituality in the Western world ? ?


Why I am sad: No one even knows I exist. (but I will not use my thoughts to navigate..., trap myself in that (sad) direction.... (The positive uses of TRUE pride == KNOWING what one is capable of (often/usually (always??) based upon one's prior experience of what one is capable of ... : and what one knows to be true, including the knowledge (based upon direct empiricle sensory experience) of HOW to obtain truth or HOW to (write correctly?? (grammatically, etc..): as in STANDARDS... without which, ONE"S ATTENTION MOVES TOWARD WHAT one finds to be less than one's ability... (hence, my dilemna.. but it is also a practical issue of: pointing my attention toward a point in my memory of MY IDEAL ecstatic, magical beauty... and pointing my attention, toward all the information that I know... (Which is a LOT.)


Note: if one's attention is always upon where one is heading (and one has the correct kind of "pride" , (which is ACTUALLY a LEGITIMATE KNOWING based upon experience), then one's attention remians focused upon what is INSPIRING... (generating an automatic humility.., that does not get a person lost (by listening w too much humility to the wrong people.., or ....
