It would be nice if a film festival showing documentaries on Social Justice would pick a location that's wheelchair accessible - a good number of the screening rooms at the Raleigh Studios are not.
Actually it wouldn't just be nice, it's a legal requirement they could get sued for if someone was feeling pissed off enough. Might be a good idea for them to think about that for next year.
I will call them to find out whether they are now wheelchair accessible. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to miss it. I don't like to patronize businesses or events that discriminate against people with disabilities. Possibly there are accessible screening rooms at Raleigh Studios now? I hope so.
No, the screening room isn't accessible - the Raleigh Studios apparently thinks they're above the law, and will soon be corrected.
