BEVERLY HILLS S30 MASS CONVERGENCE

BEVERLY HILLS S30 MASS CONVERGENCE

Join hundreds of activists as we take over the fashion center of the United States, Beverly Hills, to target the leading department store: Neiman Carcass!

DON’T MISS OUT ON THE ACTION!

September 30, 2002 4 pm

MARCH TO:

NEIMAN MARCUS

9700 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, California

The last weekend of September is packed with action…

· September 27 and 28: VegSource is hosting a conference for the health conscious (see www.vegsource.com/event for a list of their expert speakers)

· September 29: Thousands gather at Worldfest, an annual environmental and vegan music festival (see www.worldfestevents.com for details)

· September 30: Hundreds of human rights advocates, animal rights activists, environmentalists, consumer questioning and compassion driven residents of Los Angeles will march to Neiman Marcus for a massive demonstration.

Neiman Marcus claims to be a socially responsible store, yet Neimans contributes to the suffering and death of 40 million animals every year by continuing to sell and promote fur. Neiman Marcus touts itself as a respectable fashion leader, but the reality that as many as 200 animals died slow and painful deaths for just one coat is not so glamorous.
