At the mass meeting recently held at the N.Y.C. Convention Center to consider plans for the World Trade Center site, labor and community advocates urged the participants, planners and politicians to think outside the site. 911 affected the entire city and many aspects of the tragedy including jobs and housing were not addressed adquatley, while money is flowing to the corp.s.Unemployment,especially in NYC exceeds 8% and the tens of thousands of jobs lost after 911 have never returned.

Let's hear what Jobs with Justice and other labor and community groups had to say about what should be added to the dialogue about rebuilding not only the World Trade Center site but New York City
