" Last December, the House of Representatives passed fast track by just one vote (215-214). We can beat this outrageous corporate giveaway when the bill comes back to the House if we pick up just one more vote.. . "

Friends and Allies,

Please call on this critical issue. Below is a toll free number to use and a schedule of preferred days to call arranged by state in which you reside.

We have already lost so much through NAFTA and other of these trade treaties. LETS NOT LOOSE MORE!

Remember: THE PEOPLE UNITED CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED. Lets raise our voices now. Call Thursday if possible, but any day, if necessary. Thanks.

Sharon

Stop Fast Track; Stop the Corporate Giveaways
National All-Call Week
Dial 877-611-0063, courtesy of the AFL-CIO
Corporate misdeeds are destroying the retirement savings of millions of Americans. But rather than increase corporate accountability, a House-Senate conference is paving the way for a huge corporate giveaway called "fast track" trade legislation.

Fast track would open the door to expansion of NAFTA-style "investor" rules that empower foreign corporations to sue governments for billions in
damages if public-interest laws interfere with profits.

Already a Canadian
chemical company has used these NAFTA rules to attack an important
California clean water law. And a US toxic waste handler successfully
challenged the right of a poor community in Mexico to block the company
from siting a toxic waste dump over the aquifer that supplies the
community's drinking water.

A new study from Tufts University says NAFTA-style corporate lawsuits could
eventually line the pockets of global corporations with $32 billion per
year in US taxpayer funds.
TAKE ACTION: Stop the Corporate Giveaway

Last December, the House of Representatives passed fast track by just one
vote (215-214). We can beat this outrageous corporate giveaway when the
bill comes back to the House if we pick up just one more vote.

Call your US Representative this week by dialing 877-611-0063 (toll-free
