A group of a about 200 police officers (from Tijuana, Baja California and Mexican government) are surrounding the neighborhood. They were ordered to arrest Hortencia Hernandez and other leaders of the poblado Maclovio Rojas. They want to provoke an confrontation with the colonos to justify an action of repression. They want to expel Maclovio Rojas' families from their land (197 hectares).

En estos momentos (28 de junio, 4:00 pm) las 2000 familias del poblado
Maclovio Rojas estamos siendo agredidos por alrededor de 200 policias
municipales, ministeriales del estado, policia federal preventiva, agentes de
gobernacion, etc. Policias y fuerzas paramilitares estan formando un cerco
alrededor de la colonia con el objetivo de aprender a los dirigentes del
poblado, en especial a la companhera Hortencia Hernandez, asi como para crear
un enfrentamiento, justificar la represión y despojarnos de las 197 hectareas
que poseen los pobladores de la Maclovio.
Su apoyo publico es muy importante en estos momentos. Favor de enviar cartas
de apoyo a los periodicos y brigadas de apoyo civil al poblado Maclovio Rojas.
