The Los Angeles Cannabis Coalition is holding a hunger strike and vigil to force Federal Officials to back off the club and provide medical marijuana to those in need. If you recall, the DEA closed them down back in October. Now they’re trying to take the building in which the Cannabis Coalition is housed. When Proposition 215 was enacted, California’s voters spoke. We want to provide medical marijuana to those who need it. AIDS patients have such a huge cocktail of drugs that it’s hard to feel hungry. Medical marijuana is a voter-approved law, and yet the DEA continues to take away the rights of the least healthy among us.
Hunger strikers include people who have cancer and AIDS, who desperately need food to keep their weight up and to keep the other medications down. Show your support at the corner of Gardner and Vista along Santa Monica Boulevard. Please call this number (323) 874-0811 in order to get in contact with the Los Angeles Cannabis Coalition. A rolling hunger strike is needed. Take a shift. Fast for a day.
These acts of abuse of power is intollerable. The DEA nor the Federal Government shouldnt be able to take God's medicine from the ill. The people of California spoke when they voted yes on the prop. that legalized medicinal cannabis for the terminally ill. yet the DEA still raids places that legally provide medicinal cannabis to those in need. We should not tolerate these acts by the government and I think we should retaliate by any means necessary. The government will never reconize the power of the people until we show them that they've crossed the line. If you ask me, it's time for a new revolution of this corporate ruled , corrupt nation. We need to rise and truly make this the land of the free. this should be the peoples nation, not the rich white mans. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!!!
