(San Diego) On May 14th every year the Israeli occupiers celibrate the invasion of Palestine in 1948. To the Palestinian people this is a day of pain and sorrow. A time when they are reminded of how they were kicked off of their land, and how their familly and friends have been murdered and jailed and exiled.
On May 19th Palestinians and their supporters gathered at Balboa Park to commemerate the Nakba as they call it. San Diego IMC was there and talked with Jamal Kanj, a Palestinian who was born in exile in a refugee camp in Lebanon. Video Approx 5min
