Santiago Villanueva killed by Bloomfield cops

On Tuesday, April 16, Santiago (Chago) Villanueva, a community activist and
musician in an Afro-Dominican cultural/music group, Pa' lo monte, was
murdered by police officers of Bloomfield, New Jersey. Chago was epileptic
and had a very strong seizure while he was at work. His co-workers called an
ambulance, but the police came first. They hand-cuffed him, shouted
profanities and said he was a drug addict, demanded that he and his
co-workers speak English, and then forced him to the ground and sat on top
of him until he stopped breathing. All this took place while his co-workers
demanded that the police stop and tried to explain to them that he was
suffering from a seizure. Chago lived in Washington Heights,NY.
