Indymedia defines itself as "a democratic media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate tellings of truth." How does the above post fit that bill?

Not only is it counter to the aims of Indy... but it is sexist as well.

By NOT moderating it's network, Indymedia leaves itself open to ATTACK by those who wish to undermine and discredit it.

Would you want your Parents, Grandmother, Children to visit Indymedia... only to see what's on this page. Indymedia is not being seen as a credible source for information and news because of this garbage. It's becoming more like an AOL "chat room" filled with moronic teenagers... or the LA Weekly.

Not only have I seen pornographic images like the one on this page on other Indymedia sites... I have also seen posts attacking Jews. I'm a supporter of Palestinian rights, so don't accuse me of supporting the policies of Sharon... I know what REAL anti-Jewish propaganda looks and reads like. "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" have been posted on Indymedia sites across the world... as well as vicious Nazi era Posters portraying Jews as money grubbing monsters. Posts with hate filled words like "kyke" "jew boy" and worse have been appearing on Indymedia Websites.

IT'S TIME TO MODERATE THE INDYMEDIA NETWORK... BOTH FOR CLARITY AND TO PROTECT THE PROJECT!

Why? Because people from less leafy, urban parts of town may use this forum and not come up to scratch. Like the title suggests it was a hip hop way of expressing his admiration. Okay, it's not great, but while you're at the office, some of these people are living eal lives. If it offends you, just read something else. Perhaps you belong on the republican party website.
