Los Angeles, Alta California - 4-18-2002 - (ACN) The Revolutionary Council and Provisional Government of Aztlan has issued a communique urging La Raza to participate in the April 20 and April 22 actions against Zionism and Racism that will take place in Washington D.C. and in San Francisco, Alta California. Chairman of the Council, Cuauhtemoc, stated, " We can not remain silent and immobile while the Palestinian people are being systematically exterminated by Ariel Sharon - the Butcher of Sabra, Shatila, Qibya, and Jenin." The communique released yesterday evening is one of a very few that the Prime Minister of the Provisional Government has issued.

The Chairman, according to the communique, received evidence of the barbaric war crimes that recently took place in Jenin, Palestine. He said, "The barbaric atrocities committed by the Butcher Sharon with the backing of the U.S. Government are shocking and horrifying." Chairman Cuauhtemoc emphasised that the people behind the slaughter of the Palestinians are the very same people who slaughtered the American Indians, stole Aztlan from Mexico, and raped and lynched the Africans brought to America as slaves. He

added, "The contemporary Gringo/Zionist alliance is threatening the security of the entire globe and we must take action in solidarity with all oppressed people of the world."

The action in Washington D.C. will begin at 11:00 AM this Saturday April 20th. The Nation of Aztlan is urging La Raza to join the Palestinians and other groups at the Ellipse in front of the White House. In addition, Ariel Sharon, the brutal Zionist war criminal, is scheduled to address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) at the Washington

Hilton on Monday April 22. "This would be a good

opportunity for all people of good conscience to let the Butcher know what we think of his barbaric treatment of the Palestinians" stated Chairman Cuauhtemoc.

For those in the west coast who can not be in

Washington, a parallel action will take place in San Francisco , Alta California on April 20. Participants are urged to assemble at Dolores Park located on 19th and Dolores Streets at 11 a.m. for an opening rally. Around 12 noon, the march will begin and proceed through neighborhoods that include Mission, Lower

Haight and Western Addition and than to the San

Francisco Civic Center for the closing rally beginning at 1 p.m.
