STOP ISRAELI APARTHEID - On March 30th, several thousand demonstrators held a protest march in solidarity with the Palestinian People. The demonstrators first gathered at the Wilshire Federal Building, where I snapped this Photograph. I also designed the Silkscreen Poster of the
Palestinian wearing a kaffiya. I created that Artwork in 1982, soon after the massacre of Palestinian civilians at Sabra refugee camp in Lebanon. As part of my own gesture of solidarity, I gave away my rare Silkscreen Poster
to one of the protestors.
