Over the CounterIntelligence

On Jan 24th - Heavily armed with shot guns and machine guns, the FBI, Secret Service, LAPD and LASD surrounded the founder of RaisetheFist (Sherman) in his home. As he approached the door, he was immediately pulled outside as 25 heavily armed FBI agents stormed his house. All computer equipment and political literature was seized, and loaded into a big white truck. The raid consisted of about 25 agents. Raisethefist.com was shut down.

On Feb 2nd, Sherman was arrested at the World Economic Forum protests in NY after allegedly being targeted by law enforcement agencies.

After spending nearly 30 hours in Jail, he was taken out of his cell in handcuffs and placed into a back room where he was interrorgated by the FBI and Secret Service for several hours.

10 minutes later he was released from jail with charges dropped. Within minutes, he was re-arrested by 6 FBI agents and sent to High Security Federal Prison.

On Feb 15th, only after being incarcerated for 13 days under the new "Patriot Act", only after having raisethefist.com shut down by the Secret Service, and all computer equipment and political literature seized by machine-gun toting feds, was raisethefist.com founder, Sherman A. released with charges dropped, pending "further investigation"..

Thomas Mrozek, public affairs officer for the U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles said, "We have opted not to seek an indictment at this time. We are continuing to investigate the matter, but as of right now, he's off the hook." "He still has the sword of Damocles hanging over him," Sherman's lawyer Susan Tipograph said. "The government arrested him out of the blue and then reversed themselves out of the blue. Who knows what they're going to do next?"
