Horace G. Campbell is Professor of African American Studies and Political Science at Syracuse University in Syracuse New York. He is Chair of the International Section of the Black Radical Congress and has published two books and edited three others including Rasta and Resistance From Marcus Garvey to Walter Rodney.

Prof. Campbell will talk on corporate globalization, militarization, and the security state in the post 911 era. He also talks about the role of Jonas Savimbi in Angola& the controversies surrounding the policies of Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe



Denis Brutus, a poet, former political prisoner, shot and imprisoned along with Nelson Mandela in pre-liberation South Africa is currently a professor in a college in Philapdelphia. One of the critical thinkers of post apartheid So. Africa, he takes us on an intellectual journeuy in the world protests against the hegemony of capital in the world
