What did George W. Bush and his administration know on the morning of September 11th and when did they know it? Why did he continue with his public relations event of reading stories with school children after he had heard of the unprecedented attacks on the World Trade Center? Why did he lie about when he first learned of the attacks?
These are the questions that Barrie Zwicker asked in Part Five of his The Great Deception series. Citing sources from mainstream and independent news services, Zwicker shows us that Bush had knowledge of the attacks before he entered the classroom to meet with the school children and that the famous video of Bush’s reaction to the news from Andrew Card is an acted out P.R. stunt for the cameras. Bush even later stated that he witnessed the first plane strike the WTC while in the hallway of the Florida school – an impossibility considering that the first attack did not air live on television!
