U.S. "War on Drugs" Is A Joke

In Bolivia, the real agenda behind the American "war on drugs" becomes blatantly clear: it is a racist attempt to take away the land of Indigenous farmers(coca growers) and transfer it into the hands of mainly U.S. based trans-national corporations so they will be forced to work for them at paltry wages like slaves on a plantation.

In Bolivia, however, the Indigenous people who make up the vast majority of the population, are not fooled by the U.S.sponsored "wars on drugs" and "terrorism". They know who the world's biggest drug-lord/terrorist is, and they don't live in Bolivia. And they are fed up.

The U.S. Embessy in La Paz has been busy manipulating the Bolivian government to "crack down" on coca-growers who have been growing coca as a traditional, and in this impoverished nation, subsistance crop for literally thousands of years. The latest, and final straw, was the forced expulsion of a Democratically elected lawmaker(elected by 70% of the electorate in his district), Evo Morales.

That act has triggered a major popular rebellion in Bolivia where the people have taken a que from neighboring Argentina, and are blockading the nation's highways demanding the current Bolivian Parliament/Congress be converted into a Popular Assembly. The Narconews.com link below gives the details and it comes from an unlikely source: the Financial Times of London.
