More than 20.000 people remembered Carlo Giuliani in a very touching demonstration yesterday in Genova.
The global movement still awaits for truth and justice about the programmed state omicide of one of its militants.ÿØÿà

Why only Carlo Guliani? why not all people who have stood up to the face fo their gov. Why just Carlo a white man in a 1st world Country? What about the 28 people who stood up in Argentina on the streets that were killed while fighting for their freedom just weeks ago? What about the 25 Columbian Students who got shot for having an anti-war protest just 3 monthes ago? We have had plenty of martyrs, Carlo was not the first one and he was not the last.. why idolalize and him the only one? What about the 32 Iranian Students who stormed the offices of the gov. and published documents regarding the Iranian Gov, and were killed in their sleep the next day at their homes, execution style? May Carlo rest in peace, but I hope the same goes for the many who have stood up in the face of their leaders and did not backed down and have had to give their life for it. May we remember them all.

Just because people are demonstrating in the memory of carlo does not mean that they are ignoring the millions of others killed by capitalism and western imperialism.. if someone was killed at a protest in los angeles don't you think we would hold demonstrations to remember them? no matter what race or sex they were.. i don't think it is white privelege to remember our comrade, carlo.
..it would be white privelege if that wasw the only person we remembered but its not.
