METROPOLIS is one of the latest animated masterpieces to have come out of Japan recently. If you expect it to be just another violent Japanese 'cartoon' featuring Sexy Girls, Monsters from Outer Space, and Giant Robots... you'll be amazed to find instead a commentary on Class War, destructive Technologies gone wild, and the Human capacity to rebel against all odds.

Directed by Rintaro (a Master of Japanese Animation), and based upon a manga by Osamu Tezuka (the Founder of Japanese Animation), METROPOLIS will dazzle you with it's incredible Art, Music, and profound political message. The film will be screening in theaters across the U.S., but for those of you in Los Angeles, you'll be able to see this masterpiece for one week only starting Friday, January 25th, at the NU-ART THEATER in West Los Angeles. The NU-ART is located at: 11272 Santa Monica Boulevard (just west of the 405 Freeway. For more info call the NU-ART at;(310) 478-6379
