WORKSHOP OF THE CONSENSUS DECISION MAKING PROCESS; Learn how to make
decisions in your group without using any form of voting or hierarchal
structure. We will also be presenting a SECURITY CULTURE WORKSHOP, learn how
to keep your group safe from the prying eyes of big brother. At 5PM we will
be hosting an open house for the community and will make a presentation on
the basics of Anarchism. The Open house is open to all, and it's a potluck
so please bring a yummy vegan, veggi, or any kind of dish to share.

COP WATCH GENERAL MEETING; cop watch is a group being formed here in Long
Beach to patrol the streets with video cameras and document police abuse and
brutality. The goal is to stop the Long Beach Police department from
brutalizing our community. Come to help out or learn how to start a Cop
Watch in your own city.

PERFORMANCE ARTS WORKSHOP; Do you ever get really passionate about something
and want to find a creative way to express it? Performance Art is a
wonderful creative form of expression and non-violent protest! You will
learn the skills that are necessary to put together a performance piece.

POWER! (People Against Opposing War, Empires and Rulers!) meeting
POWER is a group that we started and we have been meeting and have done
actions against the war. Our group makes decisions and approaches the anti
war movement from a non hierarchal, non-vanguard/sectarian form of
organizing but actually from an anti-authoritarian/anarchist point of view.
If you are against the war, opposing the US oil driven war machine, and want
to help organize with groups all over the nation, please join us.
January 19th,2002 (CALL FOR TIME)
WORKSHOP ON VEGANISM. A presentation will be made discussing reasons why
people should stop eating meat and dairy products. Food will be served.

WORKSHOP ON MIDDLE EASTERN CULTURE
A workshop based around presenting different cultural aspects of Middle
Eastern countries. They include religion, ethnic groups, language, and arts
of Middle Eastern countries and ethnic groups.
FOOD NOT BOMBS Long Beach meets at 12:00 PM every Sunday to cook and serves
at 3:30 PM in Down Town Long Beach at the Libraray Park (on Pacific between
Ocean and 1st)
