This article is pretty good as a guide for how to act in our capitalist society if you're interested in screwing people over. Personally, I think it's disgusting!
On a website like this, an article like this might on the surface seem to be an anarchist criticism of the state. Nothing could be further from the truth!
The article claims to oppose the philosophy which led to fascism, but puts forward the same theory of crass individualism which leads you to a cult of personality, yielding to a superior leader, etc.?
Not to mention the group that published this is big-time into flag worship (just look at their web site). Unquestioning religious loyalty to a state is a crucial aspect of fascism.
I think whoever wrote this has his ideas of "collectivist" and "individualist" thinking backwards. I think it's pretty clear that actions like writing letters to congress are very individualist. They're based on the idea that one person acting alone can change society. It's obvious that one person can certainly take leadership in changing society, but equally obviously, for a SOCIAL change to take place, the way different people relate to each other has to change.

Boy, you'd think these people would read the quotes they use:
"There is a venerable tradition in philosophy that argues that what the reader assumes to be real is but a shadow, and that by attending to what the writer says about perception, thought, the brain, language, culture, a new methodology, or novel social forces, the veil can be lifted. That sort of line, of course, gives as much a role to the writer and his writings as is possible to imagine and for that reason is pathetic."
A perfect description of what's going on in this piece. Though I'd hesitate to call it part of "a venerable tradition in philosophy." Call it a cheap knock-off of a venerable tradition in philosophy.
