* Translation of the situation and events in Argentina. * The unequal redistribution of money in favour of the banks. * People protests in different provinces including the capital city in where the police is taking an active and authoritary action.

After the measure taken by the government in favour of the bank system, many problems have arised as most money from the people now is under the control of the banks. Not only have the cash disapeared, the credits also have disappeared. So the economy has weakened, affecting most people with the exception of the high class who have their money abroad and safe from the changes that our coin "Peso" is subjected to. Many big economic groups have also bet for the decrease of the "Peso" value, taking advantage of the situation.

In this way, the chaos has deepened in such a way that poor people and unemployed people have begun to break into supermarkets taking all the possible food away as they suffer frfom hunger and unemployement.

It is important to say that some groups of people were suspected to be led to do this kind of things under the influence of some politicians who are oppositors to the current president and party, in order to benefit from the desperation of the poor people.

In addition to this, some little shops and supermarkets were also affected by the social exposion. As a consequence, the comerces of inocent people were invaded by a mass of persons, most from the low class.

Concerning the police, there ware many injured persons and a dozen of deaths [at their hands] until now. In some cases, the police allow the people to enter the supermarkets wtohout restrictions in respond to some governors´ orders who wanted to take advantage of the social rebellion "caused by the president Frenando De la Rua and the economy minister Cavallo ".

Although this seems to be right, is not totally true as the government is just a disguise that hides and represents the big enconimic group´s interests inside this country and also outside of it.

Yesterday, the situation turned to be even more unbearable as the "state of site"(I don´t know how to translate this expression) meaning the temporary abollition of constitutional rights and garanties, was established by the president in an unconstitutional way due to the omittion of the congress when taking such decission.

As a result, the people from most neigbourhoods of the capital city and the provinces began to concentrate in parks, main avenues and monuments, shouting, shaking and hitting metal pottery and public trash bins, in protest against the military and repressive measures taken by the government. Never in my life had I felt and lived such massive social rebellion in Argentina.

With respect to the Congress park, It was crammed with people and argentinian flags singing songs of protest in front of the "Pink House"(synonim of the "White hosue"). The disagreement with the current government and its measures was evident, massive and spontaneous. No media can hide or ignore this manifestation.

It is obvious that this model of capitalism(installed by the U.S government) is not more tolerable in Argentina .

I have to go, more information, questions and thougths will be translated soon. I apologize for the ones who couldn´t understand my translation.

Don´t doubt to add your comments if you want to know about something in particular.
