Revolutionary Graffiti Front!

Who is the Revolutionary Graffiti Front? We are engaged in form of Guerrilla Art, as a tactic to increase the political awareness of individuals and communities about the daily exploitation and injustice that exist within today's corporate capitalist society.

Together, we can shock those who've become oblivious, out of their oblivion. We must awaken the minds of those who've become manipulated and deceived by the dirty games of pop culture and corporate mainstream propaganda.

Our weapon is a dynamic tactic, ART. Guerilla Art. Our objective is to awaken, influence, encourage and generally gain the attention of communities. Our target is capitalism. We seek to deface, and uncover the lies of those which represent the unfortunate dominance of mass marketing, mass production and efficiency in American commercial society.

that's, like, really ugly

by art critic Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at 10:10 AM

it's really ugly, and it's not particularly original. it does not even deal with the current situation at hand, which is the USA going in and installing a puppet government.

why?

by rtf Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at 2:19 PM

why do we have to focus on a single issue? I don't think that's progressive enough. There is a shit load of other things going on right now that people need to be aware of. Also, the person who did the above graffiti wasn't doing a "piece", as a "piece" requires more time rather than a single hit... when you're doing graffiti, depending on where you're at, you'll get caught if you idle too long. a "piece" requires more effort than a hit, thus it requires more time. I believe there's a "piece" in the gallery on the site however... I mean, not that the RGF refrains from doing any "pieces", it's just sometimes more effective to hit up quick messages/phrases to people, especially if you're defacing a corporation or something.

Get The Word Out!

by Anti-Fascist Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at 5:01 PM

We need to grab a spray can and start giving the taggers and gang-bangers some conscious competition! We need to to an "end-run" around the corporate propaganda! Keep up the good work RTF, and let's hope others join in!

Also, we need to do something with all these propaganda spouting billboards!

A for Effort

by graf-head Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 at 5:17 PM

You guys need to develop some skills and can control. Look at some graf mags. It's o.k. to bite at first, that's how all of us learn. Practice, then go out and get up. If your graf has a nice look and is clean it will get more attention. Also, think about putting your messages on stickers. They are a great way to get up in public places without people noticing.
