Terry Dahl of Santa Barbara Appeared for sentencing before U.S. District Court Judge Christina Snyder yesterday for failure to display an Adventure Pass on his parked car within the Los Padres National Forest Last year. Judge Snyder imposed no penalty for a guilty verdict from the trial of January 9. Judge Snider instructed Mr Dahl to pay the fee on the last one of the 11 notices of Non Compliance that he had received from the Forest Service and pay a court fee of . Mr Dahl is the only person that the Forest Service has successfully prosecuted within the state of California since the forest fee was first implemented in 1997 as part of a nation wide test program. The defense Attorney Mr Gregory Reden has stated that the verdict will be appealed.
