Hezbollah: Israel Security to be Rocked, Support Palestinian Resistance

Sheikh Qassem said, " the continuation of the intifada worries Israelis and the security of 'Israel' must be rocked from within and outside Jerusalem, Palestine must be completely liberated." He also said Hezbollah "will place its gun alongside of the Palestinian resistance and it will act to liberate all Palestine though all human and material means".

Resistance groups against the Israeli occupation vowed to continue their struggle until the occupation is forced out of occupied Arab lands during a gathering in the Palestinian refugee camp of Yormouk, south of Damascus, to mark the sixth anniversary of the assassination of former Secretary General of Islamic Jihad movement Fathi Shakaki by the Israeli intelligence in Malta.

Organized by the Islamic Jihad movement and attended by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Baath party, the gathering was held two days after British Prime Minister Tony Blair failed to gain the Syrian leader Bashar Assad's support for containing the resistance groups. Assad reiterated that resisting the occupation is a legitimate act and can not be compared or considered as terrorism.

During the gathering, Hezbollah deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem made it clear that resistance is the only way to liberate territories occupied by "Israel", and that US President George W. Bush is but launching empty words concerning the future of Palestinians. The deputy secretary-general also reiterated the Islamic Resistance's pledge to liberate the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, without depending on UN resolutions.

For his part, the head of Hamas politburo Khaled Meshaal also considered American and British promises as lies concerning the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. As to the Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ramadan Shallah, he said the movement will keep on resisting the Israeli occupation in Palestine until its people tastes freedom. http://www.manartv.com/" TARGET="_blank">al-Manar Television
