Florida Farmworkers Visit Taco bell HQ

A delegation of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers from southwest Florida as part of the Mini Taco Bell Truth Tour stopped by Taco Bell's Global headquarters in Irvine, CA. The delegation had hoped to speak with Taco Bell Chief Concept officer, Emil Brolick, to ask him to exercise his corporation's power to end sweatshop conditions for the farmworkers who pick the tomatoes found on Taco Bell's products. After driving more than 4,500 miles across the country to meet with their allies and to promote the boycott of Taco Bell, they were told that no one was available to speak with them.
