ARA (anti-racist action) organized another protest outside "The Shack" for hosting a neo-nazi benifit concert.

Despite the late-notice, the anti-nazi demonstration had a good turnout. About 30-40 people showed up in total. Everyone from anarchists to communists, socialists, and libertarians came to protest the neo-nazi show at The Shack. As the neo-nazi's began to show up, usually in groups of 4, they greeted protesters with middle fingers and racist slurs and statements such as, "you're next in the oven". Protesters chanted back, "No nazis! No kkk! No fascist USA!". There were no incidents of violence, however two neo-nazi's in a red pick-up truck tried to run over 5 demonstrators by driving up onto the sidewalk. A demonstrator, Paul was hit in the knee and got a bruise but is okay. Police monitoring event ignored the incident. The police presence at the demonstration was heavier than the last. There were about 8 cop cars, plus a black car that was profiling BlackBloc anarchists, which also followed them as they walked to the corner with a comrade who needed to use a phone. About 3 other cops also had cameras and where taking pictures of demonstrators. About 50 neo-nazi's had showed up for the show.

The Shack has also been previously used for neo-nazi shows. The owner repeatedly lied about this. The Shack is being utilized for neo-nazi operations as a recruiting ground to spread hate violence throughout our communities. What's going on inside of The Shack is much more than "just a show", but something we should all take seriously, confront, and oppose.
