Dome Village is excited to host its second Veterans Stand Down to serve Homeless Veterans in Downtown Los Angeles this Labor Day, September 3, 2001, from 7am to 7pm. This will be a high profile event, showcasing how Los Angeles businesses and community leaders working together can help the Veterans that have served this country to get back on their feet. To accomplish this, we will be offering the 300 Homeless Veterans anticipated food and clothing, services and information to help them become self-sustaining.

Downtown Los Angeles - Labor Day ~ September 3rd, 2001

Dome Village is excited to host its second Veterans Stand Down to serve Homeless Veterans this Labor Day, September 3, 2001.

A number of distinguished organizations have stepped forward to donate services, supplies, and their time end energy, including Justiceville, LA City Councilmember Jan Perry, the South Central Coalition, Veterans for Peace, Buddhists of African Descent, Alameda Jobs Coalition, and the Progressive UTLA Slate.

This will be a high profile event, showcasing how community leaders working together can help the Veterans that have served this country to get back on their feet. We will be offering the hundreds of Homeless Veterans anticipated food and clothing, services and information to help them become self-sustaining.

There will be food, entertainment and speakers from 7am to 7pm, with a press conference held at 11am.
