SEP 8TH - G8 SOLIDARITY PROTEST / MARCH

On July the 20th activist Carlo Giuliani was murdered by Italian police who fired two gunshots into his head during the protests against the G 8 summit in Genoa.

On July the 21st the ìDiazì public school, which gave shelter to activists, was also stormed by brutal police forces. Activists were brutaly beaten and seriously injured. Some nearly died.

Activists have been systematically tortured by the cops in prisons. In the days after the summit, the police continued their hunt for activists and continued to arrest people. Activists are still calling for demonstrations all over the world to protest the police killing of Carlo Giuliani, the brutal police repression, our political prisoners still in jail, and against the policies of the G8. There have been over 500 arrests. There are still 17 G8 demonstrators of varying nationalities still in jail in Genoa

And Guess Who trained the G8 police in Genoa? The United States LAPD!!

Genoa and LA have a direct connection, Reuters reported that the Italian police were trained by the LAPD and sheriffs. Blood is on the hands of the pigs in this city!! They must not get away with this!!

We must continue to protest in solidarity! The fascist United States is just as much responsible for Carlo's death, and the overwhelming police brutality as Italy is. We must not remain silent! We must seize this opportunity to rise up by all means necessary! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Bring drums, banners, signs, flags. Gather at the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles @ 1PM sharp! We will demonstrate then march down Wilsher (on sidewalk) to the US Federal Building.
