This video documents the overwhelming police response to the recent Biojustice protests in San Diego.

The police presence at the Biojustice 2001 protests in San Diego last June might seem rather uneventful compared to what's happened in Italy, Sweden, and Canada, but still teaches us that just as protests have changed in the past few years, so has the police response. Those of us who remember the Republican Convention coming to San Diego in '96 will remember that the police worked as hard as they could against protesters, but stopped far short of the police intimidation during Biojustice.

This video has shot and edited by IMC - San Diego videographers and others, who are still working on a longer video that will cover other aspects of the events.

This video premiered on July 27, 2001 at a meeting of San Diego Action Network. Tapes of this video are available from the San Diego IMC for .00 each.
