Hmm.. Big Brother is watching.. Shoot the lenses out'a their cameras.

I'm majorcan and I've read 1984 (Orwell).

I live in Barcelona now. Near this poster and the George Orwell square.

This camera is a new goverment 'experiment'.

Now there are only two cameras (in the same street) in all the city of Barcelona (with milions of people).

It has been a lot of discussions in the government about it's idea.

Results: the first day, the people of the street broke it!

It's interesting to understand a little more about our problem about the respect to our identity.

Catalonian culture, our problems with our repession in front of the state of spain, our language (genocyde and actual fascism of the goverment of Madrid to our culture, language, identity...) Today it's happen in a lot of situations.

Our behaviour is pacifist, we are not terrorist, we are very communicative... Only two little examples: Do you know that our nacionality created the first parlament? Do you know that in our language starts the 'provençal' poetry, all the poetry of the 'trovadors'? The catalan language is the unic official language in the state of Andorra! (small but interesting, no?)

In the family, friends, street, school, official document and a lot of situations we use catalan language, or English or castellan (spanish) if you don't understand... So, if you come... You are advised! Respect us!

Our culture now is more ussual in:

-Catalonia, Balearic Islands, Valencia, Aragon, south of france...

I know sometimes for foreginers it's looks like a bad thing to belive in our -little?- culture.

And often people think that our culture comes form spanish or french. It's like if I say that Mexican Language comes from Argentine culture! Or that the culture from California was bron in Canada... It's a very strange thing, no?



Normally we belive in all the cultures: all persons are diferents, but with same rights.

My opinion is that we have got som very interesting experiences, very interesting for the next years.

The years where all the world is going to make a very fast mixure of cultures and rights...

If you ask me it's sure that I'm going to give you some www with more information...
