New York City's Republican mayor, the infamous Rudi Giuliani, also greeted Bush, while he claims to represent a city that is registered 5 to 3 in favor of the Democrats. New York's Republican Governor George Pataki was also present at this gathering, representing a state that voted 59% for Democrat Al Gore and 34.5% for George Bush for president. Both the Democrats and Republicans represent the capitalist, ruling class, and thus by definition are anti-workingclass.
