First they came for:

by alli Monday, Jul. 09, 2001 at 6:16 AM

Read otro sources

First they came for the newspapers in Cuba.

Second, they came for the landowners in China.

Then in Cambodia--renaming it Kampuchea they came for intellectuals-massacres up to 1,500,000 people.

Fourth, they came for homosexuals, prostitutes, people who attend religious buildings and Diplomatic personnel.

Fifth, they came to take away business school graduates and replace them with people who would paint all day but not produce any surplus for jobless years so that when the rains, floods, cold weather or shortages happened people could look and say--enough murals! Basta Ya! when are we going to have some income, some support, some changes that will protect us for some years.

sixth, they came to confiscate items so that the various versions of truth could not be told widely.

Who are 1-6? They are Stalinists, Maoists, Leninists, Japanese Red Army, Shining Path, North Korea---and these are dictatorships that do not allow voting, or importation of radios (North Korea) or put thousands of criminals on boats when refugees were fleeing (Mariel Cuba) or assasinate their rivals (Kurdistan Workers Party)

Communism has a cute face--yet leaves a stench in your mouth. Or worse, try 30 million dead in Great Leap Forward. Sounds good but do not do it. Support left of center, respect for various beliefs, relgions, small businesses and greenparty, pro-family.

communism is fine, except for people who do not like communism. we're not born capitalists or even left of center. somebody says when you force someone to do something you are becoming just as evil as the system you are trying to reject. someone else says we're molded into that system from the time we turn on the television, breaking the mold requires a reeducation progran. someone else says get some friends together and go start a farm.

Make that an "Animal-Farm"

by Ted C. Tuesday, Jul. 10, 2001 at 3:52 AM

missing are the arguments about HOW SUBVERTED it was/is.

A rose by any other name....!

Remember Animal Farm...?

The rest of the animals let the PIGS GROW FAT...!

and look what happened when the revolution was subverted, the animals were almost willing to go back to BEING OWNED BY THE FARMER...!

both system have been RIPPED OFF... from the PEOPLE, by the GREEDY....

Simply we all know neither works.

Canpasion works.

Gifting works.

Generocity works.

Feeding poor people works.

so why would we want to GO BACK TO BEING OWNED....?

Lets just Cap wealth... lets 10 times the poorest of the poor..... everything else 110%...

I'm tired of being an "animal"...

I like some Human campassion now.

("what am I protesting...? "what do ya got...?.."... )
