-16:00 Dennis w Dan Coughlin: Good news recently with the resignation of three hard line board members, but four of five stations (all but KPFA) still controlled by hard-liners.. paramilitary security at WBAI, hi-tech security system installed, more like a prison, than a conducive environment for journalism .. Huntington Arts Center break-in and vandalism, 2 safes stolen.. spray painting.. after an event supporting WBIX (WBAI staff in exile).. Pacifica hired PR firm of John Scanlon.. increasingly desperate Pacifica leadership.. about Ken Ford, vice-chair, threatening to forward protest emails to the FBI.. national series of demonstrations July 10, locally in Walnut Creek, CA.. community radio station in Tampa Florida just switched from Pacifica's PNN to Free Speech Radio News..
