"ENERGY INDEPENDENCE DAY!"

Two hundred years ago a people, tired of being controlled from afar, fought for independence. They based their struggle on self-reliance and community interdependence. Today San Diego's and California's future is being controlled by corporate colonialists. The kings of energy hold us hostage and tax us without representation. The king's cartels are destroying our lives and small businesses. It is time that "we the people" to take back the power! Would you trust private companies to own the highway system or the water system? San Diego must have publicly-owned power production with a focus on clean, renewable power.

Join us as we throw the this tired system into the bay.
