There is always two sides to a story. This photo means nothing. This so called innocent woman was doing something she was told not to do in a place where force was knowingly going to be used on the people that refuse to do as they are asked. what the hell do you think is going to happen if you do not respect authority? Stop putting yourselves in these types of situations where Law Enforcement is made by their superiors to Enforce the law and order for everyone,not just you protesters. As I see it, you know what can happen when you choose to get out of hand so stop your damn crying! Don't blame the police, they get paid to do exactly what the people most of you voted in office to do.

Whatever the young woman in the photo might have done... in a true democracy, it is not the function of the police to administer the punishment. That is the function of the court system.

I dunno why cops bother to post to this site. I guess they actually think someone might believe their bullshit. This run-on sentence shows that obviously English is NOT taught at the police academy. As for content, to deny someone the right to peacefully assemble is against all tenets of democracy. Secondly: who knew force was going to be used? The protestors? I doubt it. And finally, what do you mean by 'told not to do'? Was she told she could not stand in public? What crime had she committed?

Judge Wapner won't even let you waste his time arguing your case.

Gosh. I looked at the photo for quite a while, but I couldn't really see any "beating" going on there. Can someone tell me where the "beating" is taking place? Maybe I'm ignorant (no doubt, some of you flamers will say I am), but it looks to me like she is being pushed with a plastic shield of some type.

I guess some people see what they want to see, no matter the truth.
