Update from Inside BIO2001

by intime-sdimc Wednesday, Jun. 27, 2001 at 7:57 PM

Cop Overheard Bragging the Following to a Biotech Executive Inside BIO2001 (Perhaps Hoping for a Stock Tip)

“We didn’t need our show of force but it was good training for some of the guys: Most of them haven’t practiced for years”. Thanks for using our youth as training fodder, and for wasting hard-earned taxpayer money.

“I saw 10-12 of our undercover guys in their biodevastation march. My lieutenant managed to be one of the people holding the Biodevastation sign. When the TV cameras stopped on him, he yelled “fuck the cops”, and gave the finger.” Another great use of taxpayer money, and a great example for the youth. Thanks.

“We learned a lot from Montreal”. He meant Quebec City, but is apparently too ignorant to know the difference.

“We got all our advance information from the Biodevastation website.” It’s good to know that the cops’ surveillance techniques are as sophisticated as a five-year-old’s. Well, I guess when you have guns and tear gas, etc. you don’t really need to be too sophisticated, and probably aren’t.

Correction

The only thing I would like to correct about my report above is that I used the word "youth", when I should have written something more like 'citizens of all ages, including teachers, librarians, students, writers...'
