especially look at the grounding and centering exercises, peer counseling exercises and basic trauma info. if the police attack you, most likely both you and the police will be facing critical incident stress. know what that is. don't get sucked into the trap of being ungrounded, non-thoughtfull and easily provoked past your own sense of doing what's right.

for affinity groups, i suggest learning peer counselling and de-briefing after actions. also, have lavendar essential oil or rescue remedy with you. both of these will help you stay in your body and not dissociate. they will help you make clearer decisions. i also suggest setting up some boundries before you enter into the heart of an action-- decide for yourself how much your willing to do, and don't go past that. be prepared to be traumatized. be prepared to be in situations where the police will try and attack you, humiliate you, make you vulnerable, etc. be prepared to keep your spirit in tact.
