I photographed this group of protestors who were standing on the opposite side of the street directly in front of the Century Plaza Hotel. The 400 or so demonstrators were outraged over the lack of serious response from the President regarding the so-called 'energy crisis' in California. There were 'anti-Nuke' t-shirts and signs everywhere, as well as posters denouncing Bush's proposal to drill for Oil in Alaska. However... the demonstrators
LINKED these issues with their opposition to high military spending, cuts in social services, and interventionist wars.
