CHELLIS GLENDINNING Chellis Glendinning is a psychologist, poet, social activist, and a pioneer in the field of eco-psychology. Her articles have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, including the Earth First! Journal, Mother Jones, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She lives in the village of Chimayo in northern New Mexico, where she works for cultural preservation and environmental justice. Chellis should not be missed by anyone interested in feminism and radical environmentalism. Chellis is the author of Waking up in the Nuclear Age, The Neo-Luddite Manifesto, When Technology Wounds: The Human Consequences of Progress, My Name is Chellis and I’m in Recovery from Western Civilization, and most recently Off The Map: An Exploration Deep into Imperialism, the Global Economy, and Other Earthly Whereabouts.
