STUDENTS/FACULTY COALITION IN SUPPORT OF JANITORS JUSTICE FOR CAL POLY POMONA JANITORS Informational Rally Tuesday, May 29, 2001 Noon-1 p.m. @ the Union Park
-Janitors @ Cal POly Pomona are not paid living wages, with no benefits, no vacations, and often not paid overtime
-Janitors @ Cal Poly Pomona have no access to basic first aid, no gloves to clean toilets, were put to work during the power outages with flashlights, have abusive workloads, and have worker testimonials of sexual harrassment
-Janitors @ Cal Poly Pomona, when speaking out for their rights, are threatened, given less hours and have been fired for their efforts in demanding their rights.
