Thanks for the picture but the comment with it is uninformed. Anarchists are a permanent feature of the anti-globalisation movement and have been from the start. Just a few friendly points:

1) The black bloc isn't a group it is an organising tactic. What I mean by this is that all these people aren't part of a group which it called the Black Bloc, what they are is a group of anarchists from all over the place who have agreed to march together in a bloc know as, you've got it, the black bloc.

2) Self proclaimed Black Bloc? Or self proclaimed anarchists?! This is one of the weird pieces of commentary sometimes raised against anarchists. It's strange because nobody talks about a self proclaimed environmentalist or self proclaimed human rights activist.

3) ' faces have been modified not only to protect the innocent, but just because I don't need these violent people on my ass... :-)' I assume this is a joke but for those who don't get it I'll explain. Anarchists in black blocs usually don't like their pictures taken because the police use images they take, they get from the media and which they sieze from people to identify people for arrest. However no anarchist would beat someone up for taking their picture, what they do do is tell people to stop and if they won't they stop them from taking pictures by putting a hand on the lens etc.
