an urgent plea for uncentralized communication before impending LB Mayday pre-trial hearings.

[i tried unsuccessfully to email this message to Chantal's list of people who have gotten out of jail since mayday. please forward this message to others if you see fit.]

my name is yutaka yokoyama. i was released as john doe on may 6th at around 12:30 am from twin towers on 100,000 dollars bail posted by my mother using the mortgage on the house. my sister is counting on this money for college. i

tried to id myself in hopes of getting my bail lowered but the deputies at twin towers couldn't care less.

my pre-trial is 830am May 9th. what should i be doing to prepare myself for this? nobobdy seems to know exactly. there must be more we can do than go to the meeting tomorrow at the Quaker House (4167 s. normandie + MLK) at 6pm or 7pm, whichever it is. i will go, but that's not enough.

does everybody know what they are charged with? i just called the LB city prosecutors office and their computer says that i am charged only with misdemeanor riot penal code 404a (not three misdemeanors as i was told at my

arraignment). ..SO.... the situation seems to keep changing. will the judge be the same as at arraignment? is alec alright? javier? ruckus? do we all know what a pre-trial consists of? what if they refuse to give us all

different public defenders?.. they did seem to disregard ruckus' request to represent himself. what are we likely to be sentenced with? how are we to coordinate things amongst ourselves if we're not sure who we are. the cops know.. so what's the point in hiding our names now that we're out of jail, people?

my understanding is that nobody has a list of all our names and contacts. Chantal has a list that she got from the cops when she was serving as a liason -- it seems like madness to me that we should be keeping our names secret from one another for fear of the cops getting hold of it when we got

the information FROM the cops. in any case, i want a list of all of us so that we can communicate with one another more efficiently. if you see what i'm saying, please email me at fhuipa4@aol.com or call me at (310) 441-5416 ask for yutaka or call SOMEONE. we should all have a copy of a list. i am hoping we will not centralize all our interactions through some meeting facilitator. please let each other know what the hell is going on.
